Fall Fundraiser

The annual OCCS Servathon is here! This is a time where each class at OCCS acts out their Christian faith by engaging in acts of service throughout the local community. Some activities from years past have included picking up trash, making care bags for the homeless, collecting non perishables for the Salvation Army, writing cards to nursing home residents, making blankets for the Family Resource Center, and filling boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and more!

This is also a time where we ask the friends and families of OCCS students to donate to the school to help finance need-based scholarships, supplies, and school improvements.  Students who solicit the most donations from loved ones can also win prizes like special lunches with staff and OCCS gear.  We hope you consider donating to our school this fall as we continue to provide a Christian-centered, academically engaging educational program to the families of Oswego County.  Thank you for your consideration.

Who We Are

Oswego Community Christian School was founded in 1979 by visionary leaders of Oswego’s Christian community. It was their purpose to offer families a Christian, educational alternative that would excel in the teaching, training and spiritual development of our children. These students come from all racial and economic backgrounds including those within the foster care system.  Students from all racial and economic backgrounds are represented in our student population.  We similarly welcome those from more than a dozen supporting churches as well as those who do not yet know Christ, using the school as a way to spread the Gospel message.

What We Do

  • Provide a safe, academically rigorous, and Christ-centered alternative to public schooling options for all children
  • Educate students in all core subjects and special areas with a Christian worldview
  • Allocate scholarships to families with financial need
  • Maintain the lowest annual tuition among area private schools
  • Engage in community service projects throughout Oswego County
  • Pray corporately every day and worship corporately every week
  • Employ professing Christians to our staff
  • Treat every child with dignity as a child of God made in His image

How You Can Help

  • Pray that God would continue to bless the school, its students, its staff, and the larger Oswego community in an age when the Gospel of Christ is most needed.
  • Enroll your children/grandchildren in a school that will challenge their minds and grow their hearts.
  • Donate to our school so that we can finance scholarships, supplies, and building projects and continue to provide this Christian outreach for another generation.
